Amir Barsoum is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned investor, renowned for founding, scaling, and exiting transformative ventures. Named by Fortune as one of the 40 Under 40 Global Leaders, Amir founded Vezeeta, the leading digital healthcare platform in MEA, growing it to 1,000+ professionals serving 30 million patients annually across five countries, and exited through a landmark acquisition by the region’s largest private equity firm.
Following this exit, Amir established a family office in Los Angeles, investing strategically across real estate, search funds, and wealth management. He then founded InVitro Capital, expanding it in 3 years to 170+ professionals and 6 Portfolio companies.
Amir pioneered the venture studio asset class, achieving approximately a 7X MOIC for his first fund, anchored by his family office alongside three other prominent family investors.
Amir serves on multiple boards, including the Bloomberg Health Council New Economy, Endeavor Egypt, UN Global Compact, and the African Business Leaders Coalition, & Various Global funds and tech companies. He started his career at McKinsey & Co., then at AstraZeneca, leading M&A. He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan.
